Hi. My name is Judy Herrmann. For the past 20-some years, I’ve been earning a living doing what I love. Along the way, I’ve learned a lot of important stuff about building a business, adapting to change, achieving work/life balance, taking calculated risks, separating real trends from false starts and being true to your dreams. Since 1995, I’ve shared a lot of these insights through seminars, primarily aimed at commercial photographers and other creative types, since that’s the main world I’ve lived in since 1989.
A few years ago, I started doing consulting. Again, mostly with photographers and others involved in that crazy world called advertising. Then, a couple of women who wanted to start a business aimed at new Moms asked me for help. Then, I worked with a writer…an architect…a ballet teacher…a contractor…and then I realized that all this stuff I’ve been soaking up these past 20 years can help an awful lot of people.

Judy – writing from Britain I can tell you that your V sign is the good one (Victory, Peace etc) . Flip it round and show the back of you hand and then you are into saying rude things. You can rest easy that you haven’t upset us all here.
As for your blog, I enjoy what you say and I agree with your comments above about how good advice can transcend Photography. Shooting photographs is not my day job but I still get value from your blog and I look forward to you getting into your stride with blogging.
